Tutu School Akron is seeking a Lead Ballet Teacher for students ages 6 months–8 years. A boutique ballet studio where classical ballet meets storytelling, imagination, and play.

Part-time, year-round. Typically 2 days a week, 3 hours each.

As of August 2026, specifically seeking a Lead Teacher for:

• ·Wednesdays 4:00pm–7:00pm
• ·Sundays 9:00am–12:00pm

• ·Plan and lead engaging ballet classes for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and early primary students
• ·Teach original activities within Tutu School's thoughtfully designed curriculum
• ·Create a joyful, well-managed classroom environment
• ·Build warm relationships with students and families
• ·Support studio operations including opening/closing and retail checkout
• ·Participate in recitals, events, and occasional subbing

• ·Strong ballet background (5+ years of training preferred)
• ·Experience teaching or working with young children (3+ years ideally)
• ·Musical theatre and/or early childhood education background a plus
• ·Comfort leading groups and managing a classroom
• ·Interest in lesson planning within a curriculum framework

• ·Structured training and ongoing professional development
