Full Description

Cleveland Play House seeks a full-time seasonal Lead Arts Manager to deliver CARE curriculum during the school day and lead a robust CARE After 3 afterschool program serving approximately 36 or more students. Bi-lingual English/Spanish required.

Location: 1901 East 13th Street, Suite 200, Cleveland, OH 44114

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • ·Deliver approximately 14 hours of CARE curriculum per week during the school day
  • ·Facilitate CARE After 3 programming for approximately 15 hours per week
  • ·Lead an OST program serving 36+ students
  • ·Supervise hourly OST staff and coordinate daily afterschool staffing needs
  • ·Maintain positive relationships with school administrators, teachers, families, and community partners
  • ·Communicate regularly with principals and school staff regarding schedules, student needs, and logistics
  • ·Support enrollment, attendance, retention, and family engagement in CARE After 3
  • ·Maintain required attendance, fidelity, and program documentation
  • ·Implement trauma-informed, culturally responsive, arts-integrated programming aligned with CPH pedagogy
  • ·Participate in staff meetings, professional learning, site visits, and department trainings
QUALIFICATIONS
  • ·Bi-lingual English/Spanish required
  • ·Experience teaching or facilitating arts education, youth development, OST, theatre education, or school-based programming
  • ·Demonstrated ability to work with children, families, educators, and community partners
  • ·Strong classroom management and youth engagement skills
  • ·Ability to supervise hourly staff and coordinate site-based program needs
  • ·Commitment to equity, inclusion, trauma-informed practice, and culturally responsive education
  • ·Must complete required background checks, fingerprinting, mandated reporter training, CPR/First Aid, and other school or licensing requirements
COMPENSATION

$50,000/year, full-time seasonal.
