Phoenix Performing Arts presents Disney's The Jungle Book KIDS, a performance workshop production for ages 5–11. Based on the classic Disney film, the show follows Mowgli on his jungle adventure with Bagheera, Baloo, and other jungle characters, featuring songs including "The Bare Necessities" and "I Wan'na Be Like You."

Every performer auditions using ONE of two options.

AUDITION WORKSHOP (no preparation required)

September 1, 6:00–7:00 PM. A guided group audition best for first time performers or nervous auditioners. Includes a vocal warm up, learning audition music together, singing individually and in small groups, and reading scenes from the show.

TRADITIONAL SMALL GROUP AUDITION (preparation required)

September 1, 7:00–8:00 PM. 15 minute appointments, up to four performers per group. Students prepare one minute of a provided audition song and receive acting sides in advance.

Enrollment limited to 25 performers, ages 5–10. Reserving a workshop spot does not affect casting and is separate from the audition itself.

Saturdays 10:00 AM–1:00 PM: September 5, 12, 19, 26, October 3, 10, 17.

6:00–8:00 PM, October 20, 21, 22.

October 23, 24, 25.

$200 per performer, includes seven weeks of instruction and rehearsals, tech week, three performances, production materials, and a cast T-shirt. Payment plans and scholarships available.
