Player's Guild Theatre presents Jekyll and Hyde in a semi staged concert production in partnership with the Canton Symphony Orchestra, centered on Frank Wildhorn's score. Seeking dynamic actor singers with exceptional vocal ability, compelling stage presence, strong musicianship, and a commitment to truthful storytelling. Performers will use character, voice, physicality, intentional movement, and focused theatrical choices alongside the orchestra.

32 bars or approximately 60 to 90 seconds of a musical theatre selection showcasing vocal range and storytelling ability. Contemporary musical theatre is encouraged. Bring clearly marked sheet music, an accompanist will be provided. Bring a current headshot or photo and theatrical resume if available.

Gabriel John Utterson: Jekyll's lawyer and helpful friend. Male, ages 30 to 45. Vocal range B2 to F#4.

Sir Danvers Carew: Emma's father and Chairman of the Board of Governors, charming and gentle. Male, ages 60 to 70. Vocal range C3 to F#4.

Henry Jekyll and Edward Hyde: A doctor obsessed with the good and evil in man and Emma's fiance, whose experimental formula unleashes his violent, commanding alter ego Hyde. Male, ages 30 to 45. Vocal range Bb2 to A4.

Simon Stride: Secretary of the Board of Governors and Jekyll's rival for Emma's affections. Male, ages 30 to 40. Vocal range A2 to G4.

Bishop of Basingstoke: A hypocritical, sadistic member of the Board of Governors. Male, ages 40 to 60. Vocal range C#3 to G4.

Lord Savage: Member of the Board of Governors. Male, age 40 plus.

General Lord Glossop: A pompous retired army man and Board of Governors member. Male, ages 50 to 60. Vocal range G#3 to C4.

Emma Carew: Chairman Danvers' refined daughter and Jekyll's fiancee, desired by all the socialite men. Female, ages 20 to 25. Vocal range A3 to C6.

Lucy Harris: The main attraction at a local gentleman's club, feisty and wild yet cautious, who becomes the object of Hyde's obsession. Female, ages 20 to 30. Vocal range G#3 to F#5.

Lady Beaconsfield: An elitist Board of Governors member who disapproves of Dr. Jekyll. Female, age 40 plus. Vocal range G3 to E5.

Ensemble: Aristocrats, citizens, servants, party guests, Red Rat workers, and policemen. Age 14 plus.
