Prepare your own 1–3 minute comedic monologue, OR choose one of the prepared monologues at youngstownplayhouse.org/audition. Monologues should be memorized.

October 2–4, 2026 on the Main Stage at The Youngstown Playhouse.
Two narrators and an ensemble cast attempt to combine all 209 Brothers Grimm fairy tales — from classics like Snow White, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel to obscure gems like Faithful Johannes and The Girl Without Hands. A wild, free-form comedy with audience participation and madcap fun.
The production team is committed to inclusive casting. Performers of any race, nationality, gender identity, sexual orientation, body type, religious affiliation, and performers with disabilities are strongly encouraged to audition. No fee required for participation in Youngstown Playhouse Youth Theatre productions.
