WHAT TO PREPARE

No preparation required. No headshot or resume needed. Group experience featuring theatre games, improvisation, characterization, and movement. Come in comfortable clothing.

REHEARSALS

September 20 – November 11, 2026.

  • ·Sundays: 1:00pm–9:00pm
  • ·Monday–Thursday: 7:00pm–10:00pm (youth under 16 typically released by 9:30pm)

Dress rehearsal week: November 15–19 (mandatory, 6:00pm–11:00pm)

Sitzprobe/Dry Tech: possibly Saturday, November 14 (daytime)

CASTING

ROLES AVAILABLE
  • ·ANNIE (female-presenting youth, approx. ages 10–13) — Resilient, optimistic, streetwise orphan. Strong singing voice and excellent acting skills. Double cast.
  • ·OLIVER "DADDY" WARBUCKS (male-presenting adult) — Wealthy industrialist whose tough exterior gives way to warmth. Commanding stage presence and strong singing voice.
  • ·GRACE FARRELL (female-presenting adult) — Warbucks' secretary. Intelligent, elegant, compassionate.
  • ·MISS HANNIGAN (female-presenting adult) — Matron of the orphanage. Larger than life, comedic, frustrated. Exceptional comedic timing and strong singing voice.
  • ·ROOSTER HANNIGAN (male-presenting adult) — Miss Hannigan's scheming brother. Charismatic con artist with strong comic instincts and movement ability.
  • ·LILY ST. REGIS (female-presenting adult) — Rooster's glamorous girlfriend. Stylish, witty, over-the-top. Strong singing and movement.
  • ·ORPHANS (all double cast, female-presenting youth) — Molly (ages 7–9), Kate (8–10), Tessie (9–12), Pepper (11–14), July (10–13), Duffy (10–13), plus 4–6 additional orphans (ages 8–14).
  • ·DRAKE (male-presenting adult) — Warbucks' butler.
  • ·MRS. PUGH (female-presenting adult) — Warbucks' cook.
  • ·MRS. GREER (female-presenting adult) — Warbucks' housekeeper.
  • ·CECILLE & ANNETTE (female-presenting adult or older teen) — Maids in the Warbucks household.
  • ·BERT HEALY (male-presenting adult) — Charismatic radio personality. Strong singing voice.
  • ·THE BOYLAN SISTERS (three female-presenting performers) — Close-harmony trio. Strong vocalists with movement ability.
  • ·PRESIDENT FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT (Caucasian male-presenting adult) — Calm, compassionate, warm authority.
  • ·ENSEMBLE — All ethnicities, gender identities, abilities, and experience levels welcome. Portraying Hooverville residents, Cabinet members, New Yorkers, servants, party guests, police officers, radio performers, street vendors, and more.
